Magnolia Fairy.

Hello there,

I really hope you enjoyed your Bank Holiday - yesterday ours was spent being a little nostalgic as our there was a vintage bus gathering on the promenade - it brought back memories of how the buses used to be with a conductor and when you hopped on the back (even if it was moving!)  Hubby took Emma for a jaunty on one which she absolutely loved - It really seems unreal that she is 5 and has never been on a bus!
Today we had an outing to Wray as there was a scarecrow festival on.  The theme was the Olympics and the Diamond Jubilee. So many fabulous creations made by young and old.  Quite a few tongue in cheek quips added to some.  Did you know the hulk and 007 were in their 50th year, Titanic was 100 years and Pendle witches 400 years.

Anyway onto my card which I made today....
I had a play with my new Marianne Design die - I love the way you could play around so much with this die.   I also haven't used many flowers for ages so brought them out.  I also used some mirri board which I also haven't used for such a long time, but thought it give a really lovely rainbow colouring peeking through the fret work.  I used my promarkers and distressed inks.  Flowers from WOC.

Challenges:-
Marianne's Design Divas - Pearls and swirls  (pearls on the butterfly)
Passion for Promarkers - Bright and Light.
Crafts & Me - Favourite Colour combo - (mine is pink and white)
I love Promarkers - Fairies.
Simon Says - Birthday.
Just Magnolia -Anything goes with opt of pearls and swirls.

Ok back to work tomorrow so hopefully see you soon.
Hugs

  1. Hi Sarah,
I LOVE this gorgeous card :)
A very sweet image and beautifully coloured, and the Marianne die is really stunning, it reminds me of the lace from Bruges, and it makes for such a pretty background for Tilda.
