All woman

Hey there, Hope you have all been enjoying the lovely weather, even though it has been playing hide and seek sometimes! On Saturday I was struggling with a twinging slipped disc and ended up crawling around on the floor for hours! - I eventually got myself sat in a chair I felt totally useless - I was thinking I needed to get the kids dinner, do the washing, and everything else, but hubby came to the rescue - he even left me to colour some images. If anyone had come to the door they would have thought what on earth is quazi modo do there the state I was in lol - yes I can laugh about it now as not in as much pain, poor Emma didn't know what to make of it especially when it took me 15 minutes to shunty down the stairs! I did make a couple of cards before it all happened. Challenges:- A Spoonful of Sugar - Ribbon/Pearls/Rhinestone & Flowers Crafts & Me - Anything goes I love Promarkers - Going dotty. Items used:- Image from Kenny K downloads (although it is a Christmas image I decided to have a play), coloured with Promarkers, Prima & WOC flowers, nesties, stickles and diamond glaze on her glasses MS frond punch/ Well who put all their clocks forward? Not one of mine says the same time, they are all a couple of minutes different! Thanks for hopping by,. Hugs Sarah x

Spring has sprung

Hi there,
There has been tantrums in my household and that was from me! ........ someone had taken the lead that connects my phone to the computer - for days i've been searching for it and finally my eldest son says "oh here it is" stuffed away under some papers in his bedroom! duh.

Finally I can get to upload my card, I have tried to do some water colouring - boy do I envy those of you who can do it properly - still it hasn't come out too bad!

Whilst making it, the sun had been shining, the crocuses blooming in the garden, what a really great feeling - sun, crafting and flowers (aren't I easily pleased lol!) - Hope you have all been enjoying the sun to.

Challenges:-
Magnolia-licious Highlights -Magnolia on a Spring / Easter card.

Simon Says - Anything goes.

Just Magnolia - Sketch

Magnolia downunder - 2 of anything.

Can anyone tell me why at weekends I can't get a lie in as kids wake up early but on a school day I have to drag them out of bed! Is it just in my household or is this a nationwide thing?

I also have a query if anyone can help - sometimes blogger puts in double line spacing (especially after uploading a photo) - is there a way to stop this?

Thanks for stopping by,

Hugs,

Fresh & Green.

Hi there,
They say a change is as good as a rest or so they say! I took a small break from making cards to fit in with challenges and have just been making cards for fun. My daughter Emma has had so much fun, sticking and colouring images, but she likes using sellotape over the embellishments rather than glue!

Anyway I missed blogging (although I don't do it every day, I still like to do it when I can). So I made this card and it fits in with the Sir Stampalot Challenge - fresh greens, yellow and blossom pink & Creative Inspiration - in the garden.
Not a colour combo I use, but it has definitely made me feel happy with such bright colours, now roll on Summer!
Thanks for taking a peek,
Hugs,
