Golden Tones.

Good evening peeps,
After having a well deserved week off from work, I managed to make this card in between the hyperactivity of the kids - boy are they ready to go back to school!!

This is quite a thick card now it has been made so I think I will have to hand deliver it to someone! I have backed each dp with mirri board, gold leafed the background to the image, used micro beads on the centres of the pointsettias. I tried gluing it all with a new photoglue I have, but I don't think that I will be using that again as it was still wet a day later!

I have gone with lush golden tones, the ribbon looks a little brown in the photo but it is a real lush golden colour.Challenges:-

LOTV - Sketch & Simon Says - Anything Goes.

Well our pumpkins have been carved, the soup made (and thrown away! I tried to be a little resourceful of not just wasting the pumpkin = but it was not to anyones taste ) the sweets bought and placed in the tin - costume bought and face paints ready - just to wait for the hoards of kids to arrive tomorrow .......

Enjoy & thanks for stopping by.

Clean and Simple.

Hi again.
I tried to do a clean and simple card using the sketch from the Sugar Bowl - I am so not used to their being so little on a card! Still I quite like how it turned out. I've even done some heat embossing to!

Challenges:-
I love promarkers - Cute
The Sugar Bowl - Sketch.
OSCC - no designer paper.

I've kept my posts quite short today as I have a swollen eyes due to a dust irritation - they are driving me mad as they are so itchy!
Thanks for stopping by,
Hugs

Sorry your not well

Hello,
Well after a very hectic week - it is my turn to have a week off, so looking forward to recharging my batteries. I managed a little "me" time today and had a play.
I've been quite drawn to purples and pinks...... hence the card colours - I've used this cute little fairy from LOTV Challenges:-
Crafts and Me - Blue, Pink and Green.
Cute Card Thursday - A sorry card.
LOTV - Bingo (embossing, Charms, Gems - the gems are in her head boppers)

New home found.

Emma wanted to pick the winner of the stamp that needed rehoming. So here it is.......The winner is Coldwaters2, can you email me with your address and I send it out to you.

And now for something different....

Edited to add:- I have been asked for the instructions for this "Kusadama folded petal flower" - I saw them in the docrafts creativity Magazine issue no 27. If you would like me to send you the instructions just email me.

Just thought I'd show you what I have been up to that it a little different - I have been paper folding - the first picture is of a flower bauble

These two are Sonobie origami baubles

The latter's instructions are available on Splitcoast stampers - my middle child Aaron is really into paper construction so we had a look at these and had a go. The paper doesn't require any glue. It took me quite a while to do the first one, but once done, I had to do another, they are quite addictive. Here is the link for anyone interested http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/resources/tutorials/sonobeorigamiornament/

Gorgeous Fairy.

Hello again,
Another card from me, I was having a play with a new stamp I bought, and as you know I rumage around to use things I haven't used for a while. This colour paper took my fancy .. Here is the finished product .... I really do love those fairies with those lush wings, I have made this one fly in the sky with a little fairy magic (I do believe I do believe ....)

Challenge:-
Crafts and Me - Orange.
I Love Promarkers - Autumnal colours

I have used four shades on the dress of the Promarkers, WOC flowers, glitters in various colours, bit and pieces of papers from my stash, MS frond punch.
See you soon,

The Pixie Dance

Good Afternoon Peeps,
I really hope you are all having better days of late than me. Everything just seems to be against me at the moment, work is so busy, of our our neighbours need help so at 6.00am in the morning I am roaming the streets in my PJ's to assist! I have not hot water or heating since yesterday as my boiler has stopped working and they won't come out until Wednesday! and Blogger keeps playing up ! I fell like I am on a never ending climb!

Enough of the whining .... I have managed to try and do a few things differently in crafting. Here is a card made with Lumina stamps - I really do love Whimsical / fairytale lands ....
I have left it quite basic, an enchanted door in an old oak tree with dancing pixies all from Lumina stamps collection, a stamp and emboss pointsettia with pearl centre. The background were two other stamps, old money accounting and a cheque stamp. Distressed on the edges. Stickles added. In real life it does have a real sparkly enchantment.

Challenges:-
Simon Says - Halloween / Goth.
Cute Card Thursday - Trees
Whimsey - Dies Cuts / punches.

Thanks for popping by,

Hugs

Get the oldies out.

Hiya,
Boy do I not like the darker nights and mornings - I'm feeling so tired of late .. is it having that effect with you guys? I really feel exhausted in doing anything at the moment, so it took me a while to even get this card done.

A little different in style but hey, a change is as good as a rest.
Of course Halloween is coming along, so spooky cards are being shown - so I thought i'd join in ..

Challenges:-

Stamps are Magnolia and Clarity - sizzix swirls - WOC flowers - MS punch.

Short and sweet for today,

Big hugs,

x
