I wonder ....

Hi again,
Just time to squeeze in another card.
This one I had been colouring on and off for a few days, not for the want of trying mind you.
Challenges:-
The Sugar Bowl - sketch.
Whimsey - Anything goes with a sentiment.
Truly Scrumptious - Use mainly pinks.
Yes my drawers have been rumaged through again - shhhh I have used a .... a...... peel off. sentiment...... now I know these are not "current" but needs must when you trying to cut down on crafting purchases - I even found an old die I hadn't used probably since I got it either. Nothing like a good old rumage...
Perhaps there should be a crafty swopshop site to list unwanted items and request for wish for? Good idea or has someone already done it ? Ahh well - time to sign off,
Take Care all,
Hugs,

Little Sweet one.

Good evening Peeps,
What a glorious day it was in the NW. We took the kids to Arnside and walked along the beach, the sun beating down, a picnic on the sands - simple things and yet it was really great just my family and the open air.
Anyways, thought I'd post before a quick weekend away to my SIL house with the kids.
I love the Sarah Kay images like this one, so thought she'd better see some light.
Challenges:-
Papertake Weekly - use dies.
Crafts and Me Challenge - use lace.
Simon Says - sketch.
I did have a lovely framed sentiment to go on this card but after an accident with my daughter putting her little fingers in the glaze and dropping a container of glitter everywhere, I opted for the more simple look! lol I'm still twinkling even after a shower!
Thanks for hopping by,
Hugs

A Newby

Hi again,
Can't you tell which box of stamps I had out on my desk to play with? ...
I bought these shaped cards a while back but haven't used them much so thought that I should give them an airing.
Here is what I came up with.

Challenges:-
I love Promarkers - an easel card
Whimsey Inspirations Challenge - sewing (fake around the lettering)

I used a couple of embossing folders in this card and kept it quite simple.

Hugs

Ahoy there me hearties

Good evening ladies,

I hope your evening has been enjoyable, with the children still being on holiday, it is very full on in our household. Trying to keep them occupied and still work, quite a juggling act. Anyway I have most of their uniforms bought, just the shoes to get now and I think that is it. Why do boys have growning spurts over the holidays? Bring back the Bay City Rollers where I could put a hem of tartan around the bottoms (that is what my mum did with me, I kept shooting up so the hems got bigger and bigger! not that they were my favourite band! lol).

Here is a card I managed to have a play with..

Challenges:-

Passion for Promarkers - A pirates life for me.

Crafts and Me - shades of blue / blue/Green.

Creative Inspirations - Use your favourite stamps

Oooh I've missed making a card and playing and blogging of course. The items used are always my usual, Promarkers, Magnolia stamp which is my favourite pirate stamp etc. so I won't bore you with the deets -
Thanks for popping by,
Hugs

Oh Dear what can the matter be ....

Just another quick post tonight - I bought this gorgeous image the other day - isn't she a sweetie ... Another route in my drawers to use up some scraps of paper and this red creation came. I've uses spellbinders tags (cut in half), nesties, promarkers and papers from stash.

I did get a couple of those new nibs to attach to the promarkers to give a smaller nib - they work a treat, the only critisism I have is that I would have prefered to attach it to the chisel end which I hardly ever use, rather than the bullet end - What do you think of them?

Challenges:-
Crafts & Me - Anything goes.
Allsorts Challenge - Red

Well that is me totally shattered now, so will say goodnight.

Keep safe & Well,
big hugs,

Something different!.....

Hi,

Wow, nearly another week over with, boy do the weekends go fast. I've had a little play, as you do and another route through my drawers I found my crystal lacquers. I had a little play and this is what I made ....

I stamped the Magnolia background in Stazon Ink onto acetate, outlined the image using a gutter and infilled with the crystal lacquers. once completed glitter was added to the trees stars and snow and extra stickles to the bottom of the trees. If you wet the acetate it will adhere to windows and voila an Christmas window cling.

Challenge:-
Just Magnolia - Anything goes Optional extra glitter.
Sir Stampalot - Whatever you fancy.
Simon Says - Christmas in August.

Thanks for stopping by,
