Daa Da Da Da

Hi there,
Did you all enjoy the Royal Wedding? Didn't Kate. sorry Catherine, look stunning. I managed to watch a little with "M" who wants to be a princess herself, inbetween coughing.
Lucky me, i've caught the worst cold possible, each time I cough, my head aches, my sides hurt, my asthma is playing up! so after a long morning of feeling sorry for myself, the kids entertaining themselves, I decided to have a craft (where the warmest room in the house!) I have jeans on, two pairs of socks, two jumpers on a T shirt and still feel cold! nuff said.
I made this card :-
Challenges:-
A Spoonful of Sugar - A right Royal Kneesup.
Wild Orchid - White & 2 colours & roses.
LOTV - Love is in the air.
I used, Promarkers, flowers from Wild Orchild, MS patp french scroll, LOTV stamp, stickles. sentiment from stash.
Wishing you all a fab Bank holiday.
Hugs,

Flower Power.

Hi there,
Where does all the time go? It is really flying by (I have been told it's my age and the older you get the faster it goes!) need to get some brakes!! lol I've also got a few more grey hairs with Mr. Blogger playing up again - why is like a stubbon mule sometimes?
I nearly missed posting this card cause time was flying by so here it is:-
It is basic but I really like how it has turned out. I've just used one LOTV sentiment stamp with, MS punch and WOC flowers a little stickles and distressed inks and voila.
Challenges:-
LOTV - Happy Birthday.
Papertake Weekly - truly dimensional.
Wild Orchid - wings - (the little butterfly! hope it counts)
Thanks for passing by.
Hugs

A Sassy Spring girl.

Hi there,
Hope you have enjoyed yourselves this weekend - hasn't the weather been the best yet. I made this card in my little crafting space - part of the conservatory - the weather was so warm, the thermometre was reading nearly 30 degrees! phew now I can't complain can I?! lol
I followed a sketch but decided to make an easel card so extended it slightly.Challenges:-
The Sugar Bowl - Sketch.
Papertake Weekly - Anything goes
Creative Inspiration - Punches and dies.
Simon Says - Spring Colours.
I really had fun making this card, the image was one of those I wasn't sure of at first but have made so many cards using these Sassy stamps, they have so grown on me. I also felt that one or two flowers were needed to!
I used Promarkers, the colours aren't ones I usually use, but really do like them together. The stamp is a Sassy Stamp from Funky Kits. The flowers are Wild Orchid and have been spritzed (together with a skeleton leaf). Marianne Die cut to make a doily to fit the image. MS butterfly punch & nestability tag.

Summer Days

Hello there,

Hope you have all had a good day, been pampered and got a few little gifts? I got breakfast in bed which consisted of a couple of crumpets and vimto in a wine bottle with two glasses! Bless it was the thought (as they were underage to buy alcohol they improvised lol).

I also got a fit of this little rubber stamp (had to order it myself though!) and with it being a lovely day and being told I wasn't to do any housework, I had a little craft time - and this is what I made. It is a little brighter than what I usually make plus my back is a lot lot better (I'd hate to go through another op to have a further disc removed!) so it showed how happy I was by the colour.

Challenges:-

Wild Orchid - sketch (I feel awful cause I didn't use a single flower on it!)

Of course I used my promarkers plus Tilda stamp from the latest collection, the butterflies and flowers are from the older Butterfly collection. Papers are random ones from my scrap pile. Nesties, Tim Holtz embossing folder. Stickles and a foiled sentiment.

Well that's it from me for today,

TTFN, hugs
