Hi there,
My blogging seems to be a weekly thing now, I wish that I had a little more time to commit, hopefully when Emma starts in school full time it will happen!
FYI - I put an order into Lili of the Valley on the release day (or should I say at 1 minute past 12!) and my stamps arrived on Friday - such a fabulous service - I just wish I could have ordered them all!
Here is what I have come up with this week.
This little boy is my favourite - I have really taken to this image. I've used one of their sentiment stamps "wishing you a magical birthday", stamped twice, once onto a white circle in black and once onto a blue star in white and married them up - I covered it in diamond glaze and sprinkled a bit of glitter on - it does look better IRL. I also decorated the inside to complement the front cover.
I also used my nesties, MS punch, fiskars star punch, downloaded papers, LOTV stamp, ribbon from the Works, glitter from stash. Image coloured with my Promarkers, copics and glitter gel pen for the stars and moon on the cloak (although the camera hasn't picked up the glitter there).
Challenges:-
Papertake Weekly - Punches / Dies.
Crafts & Me - use punches.
Lili of the Valley - Ribbons & Bows (and I did it for a boy!!)
Creative Inspirations - Decorate the inside of your card.
One Stitch at a Time - Anything goes
Oooh must just tell you to, I've finally booked a holiday ...... abroad ...... after 10 years of holiday at home and around the UK, i'm taking two of my kids to Spain, although it is to see family, I'm really excited, apprehensive! It's all changed - online booking in, book your own seats etc! - and only two weeks to wait! Now I'm not being cruel, my eldest son is going to Switzerland for 2 weeks with his Scout troop and hubby went on a mates' 40th jaunty last year to Memphis so I think it is in order!
Thanks for stopping by.
Hugs,
